I picked up this BLUE Yeti Microphone from e-bay. It was sold for spares as the USB socket was broken and there was no cradle, cable or instructions, just the bare mic. It was a bit of a gamble but hey, nothing ventured and all that. As it turned out, the repair was relatively simple, a replacement of the Mini USB socket was all that was needed. I didn't have the exact repacement but I did have a bag of Surface Mount Mini USB sockets, so I thought, lets see if that will work, luckily it did. The video is a bit of a mash up as I kept going off camera due to working up close so much but I hope you enjoy it.
